How your storage quota works, what counts against it, and how long rendered videos are kept before they're automatically cleaned up.
What counts against your quota
- Uploaded assets — images, videos, audio and fonts you upload to the asset library.
- Completed render outputs — finished videos are counted while they remain on our servers (see "How long things are kept" below).
- Renders saved to the library — when you save a render permanently it's stored as a new library asset and counted once.
What doesn't count
- Intermediate AI files used during generation (voiceovers, AI-generated clips and images). These are retained only as long as needed by the video config that produced them.
- Source files stored outside the asset library (e.g. direct template uploads).
Plan limits
Each plan has a total storage cap and a per-file upload cap. Uploads are rejected if either would be exceeded.

How long things are kept
- Library assets are permanent. Anything you've manually uploaded, or any render you've explicitly saved to your library, stays until you delete it.
- Rendered videos are temporary by default. Once a render finishes, a countdown begins. Free accounts have 14 days and paid accounts have 30 days. After that, the file is automatically removed to free up space. You can still view the render job's record, but the video file itself won't be downloadable.
- Saving a render is a one-click action. On the render page, click "Save to library" before the retention window expires. A permanent copy is created as a library asset; you can share, download or re-use it indefinitely.
- Client review links keep a render alive. While a render has an active client review link, the video file is kept past its normal retention date so your client can still watch it. Once every link on the render has expired (links last 30 days) or been revoked, normal retention resumes.
Where to find things
- Recent Renders tab in the asset library lists renders that haven't been saved yet, with a Save button and the date they'll auto-delete.
- Storage meter at the top of the asset library shows current usage and warns you when you pass 80% of your quota.
- Delete from the library by hovering over a card in the Uploaded tab and clicking the trash icon. Deletes are immediate and free up quota straight away.
